Thanks for the Passion

I’ve had the great pleasure of working with Dealer Ignition over the past two weeks to jump in on the financial side of their business and help make the world a better place. It is what I love to do. What I’ve learned is that business owners and rapidly growing companies are so busy doing the necessary things to keep their clients happy (which is the reason the business exists in the first place) that they need someone keeping an eye on the ball and help run the “back office”. keeping clients happy. They come in everyday with an attitude of appreciation and passion for the work they do and the clients they serve. We’ve all worked in places that somewhere along the way we’ve forgotten who really signs our paychecks – the clients.
So on this Thursday where I get to attend a client demo and see how we close yet another client (woo hoo), I say this to Dealer Ignition – Thanks for remembering the reason you get up every morning. Thanks for having passion for your clients and your business. Thank you for making it fun to work on three year financial forecasts because I know in three years you will have financial success beyond what you can imagine. It all starts with the way you treat your clients, the passion you have for your business and the choice of attitude you make when you walk into this building.
And…one more thing. Steven, you’re buying drinks when they sign the proposal!
