After getting some great feedback from dealers who have been using our promotions system, we are excited to announce some enhancements to the way you access and manage your promotions through Dealer Ignition.

You Determine The Promotions You Want To Run

The biggest enhancement we have made is the introduction of Ad Units. With Ad Units, you can create any number groups of one or more promotions to run on your site. Previously, you had little control over what promotions would run on your site. Once you placed the provided html code on your site, any of the running promotions could show in that spot. With Ad Units, you can place the html code for one or more Ad Units on different pages on your site, and have full control (via the Dealer Ignition interface) over which promotions show as part of that Ad Unit.

Dealers can create as many Ad Units as they need, and manage which promotions run as part of the Ad Unit:

Managing Promotions

Dealers still have the ability to customize promotions, and dealers will still need to agree to Terms & Conditions if they are required for the promotion to run. The promotions management interface has been updated to be a bit easier to understand and use:

Basic Interface

For those users that appreciated the simplicity of having one code that can show all available promotions, we provide a Basic Interface Mode. In this mode, you can get one html code that provides access to all available promotions. This interface looks and functions in a similar fashion to the prior promotions interface:

Promotion Footer Customization

Last year, we introduced a feature that allows dealers to customize the actual content of the promotion. With this feature in place and working well, we have removed the ability to customize the footer that shows below all of the promotions that run on a dealer’s site. The per-promotion customization allows for more specific, better targeted customization.
