Today I am happy to announce Dealer Ignition is sporting a new, sleeker look. We have been hard at work over the past month improving the Dealer Ignition experience for you. I’ll give you a quick rundown of the changes.

Updated User Interface

The first change you will notice is an updated user interface. We removed the sidebar and expand the width of the main window. The application’s new homepage will now act as a springboard to get you quickly to the portion of the application you need.

We have also reorganized the navigation. The main navigation (main-nav) has been moved to the top of the application. Below the main navigation, we’ve added a row for secondary navigation items (sub-nav). The secondary navigation will provide context sensitive navigation. This means that the navigation changes depending on which part of the application you are currently using.

Integrated Tutorials

The next change I am going to discuss is our new integrated help tutorials. After you log in to Dealer Ignition you will notice a new ‘Help’ tab to the right of the main navigation.

Our help section now includes a number of tutorials for commonly asked questions. We will be expanding the tutorial list over the next several weeks. If there are any tutorials you would like to see, please let us know.

Speed Enhancements

The final feature I will discuss and the feature I am personally most excited about is the improvement we have made to the speed of the application. We hope you’ll notice the application feeling much more snappy and responsive.
