How to: Create a Company Page On Facebook

First, lets explain what is a company page. A company page is made for businesses, companies, institutions, brands, entertainment (artists/bands), public figures, causes, or communities. It is a wonderful place to have an online community in the fastest growing area in social media, Facebook. Some benefits of a company page is if a person “likes” your page, the company page will be added to the person’s information under their personal profile. Also, a company page will always be visible to unregistered people. Facebook labels pages as the best opportunity in social media for long-term relationships.
You need a personal profile to create a company page!
Create a regular Facebook profile. (You do NOT need to create a separate “personal” page to create a company page.) Once you create your personal page you can follow these instructions to create a company page!
To create a company page:
Go to “create a page” at the bottom of your personal page, near the chat feature. It is three over from the left…
Once you click “create a page” it will take you here:
Depending on the type of page you want to create, Facebook offers six different types of pages. For each type, Facebook asks for different information.

Once you click “get started” it will take you here:
From this point you can add an image, invite your friends, tell your friends, make posts to get your company page started!

To Get Back to Your Company Page:
Go to “Account” in the top right of your Facebook personal profile.
After you click “Use Facebook Page,” Facebook will take you here…
I currently have 4 Facebook pages. Whichever page you want to log into, just click “switch” and you have logged into you Facebook Page!
Note:
When adding applications to your page, you have to be on your personal profile. Do not be alarmed when Facebook asks you to switch back to your personal profile to proceed. This is normal!
